Meet Your Representative Ken Ivory

Family Is Everything

Ken was born in Mt. Pleasant, Utah (Sanpete County) in 1963. He grew up in Tempe, Arizona, graduating from McClintock HS in 1981. He served a mission for the LDS Church in Guatemala. Ken met and married his wife Becky in 1988. Becky is a past recipient of the Golden Apple Teacher Award. They have four amazing children and three adorable grandchildren.

Experienced Leadership

Ken Ivory, JD, served for nine years in the Utah House of Representatives, resigning in August of 2019. He maintains a general business, civil litigation, and estate planning law practice. Ken also served as an adjunct professor at Utah Valley University teaching American Federalism.

He continues to chair the National Center to Restore the Balance of Government for the American Legislative Exchange Council, an organization that honored him as the national state legislator of the year in 2014. 

He is the author of “Where’s the Line? How States Protect the Constitution.”
